ClandestineAn eerie old houseClandestine by Lunar-Pilgrim
On a silent street
Where strange people meet
A cloaked man walks up
Onto its grey stairs
With a wary glare
A while he knocks
On the door's gold plate
Which is quite ornate
A dark red homestead
On some unkempt land
Near which I oft stand
A clan comes and goes
On affairs untold
With secrets to mold
In the endEvery night I feel so alone,In the end by ZaFei
I can't fight this war when I'm on my own.
I need someone to stand by my side,
Not someone who will run and hide.
Though this battle may be long and rough,
We need to stay strong and be tough.
When the world is going dark and cold,
You need someone to love, and hold.
The longer we live the more we see,
The closer we get to how strong we can be.
Yet in the end it's always the same,
Dead on the floor with nothing but shame.
And you try to be the best you can,
Yet nothing in return falls in your hand.
You give and give until the day you fall,
Now you see there's not a happy ending for all.
